Despite actively working on a major update in the form of MIUI 14, Xiaomi unexpectedly released MIUI 13.1 at the end of July for Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro smartphones. Now the list of supported gadgets has expanded with new models, according to the Xiaomiui profile portal.
- To the point: Meet Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 – what will be the biggest firmware update

So far, MIUI 13.1 is only available for four devices:
- Xiaomi 12;
- Xiaomi 12 Pro;
- Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 (new folding smartphone);
- Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4″ (new large tablet).
According to Xiaomiui, developers are releasing MIUI 13.1 quietly – without any announcements. The new firmware version is currently only received by users from China, so Western journalists have not yet been able to investigate this update. But the main innovation is already known – MIUI 13.1 is based on the beta version of Android 13.
Given the experience with the MIUI 12.5 interim update, which was only available to a few flagship smartphones, MIUI 13.1 is unlikely to be released to a large number of devices.
