The Ukrainian government today approved the dismissal of Sumi’s regional governor, Volodimir Artuch, who was accused by some officials of negligently after the double Russian rocket attack on Sunday who killed 35 people and injured more than 100 in the city. The government announced today that it has approved a draft Presidential Decree to dismiss the Regional Governor, but the official decision to remove it has not yet been published and no official explanation has been given. The announcement of the decision comes after an interview given yesterday by Artyuch, in which he confirmed the Moscow version of the goal of the Russian attack on Sumi.
