Street named after Taylor Swift, in Pernambuco, goes viral on social media

With the arrival of Taylor Swift in Brazil for the performances of “The Eras Tour”, an address, which bears the singer’s name, went viral on social media and caught the attention of fans.

Located in Garanhuns, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, “Rua Taylor Swift” appears in online geolocation applications and services, such as GPS, between the Magano and Manoel Chéu neighborhoods.

The road is in an area where nearby streets are named after flowers, such as Roses, Daisies and Hydrangeas.

A CNN contacted Garanhuns City Hall and the city’s Planning and Development Secretariat to understand whether, in fact, this is the name of the street or whether there has been any change. However, there was no response until the article was published.

“The Eras Tour” in Brazil

During his visit to Brazil, Taylor has 6 performances scheduled. In Rio de Janeiro, the shows take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of November, both at the Nilton Santos Stadium, Engenhão.

The following week, the singer arrives in São Paulo, where she will perform on the 24th, 25th and 26th, at Allianz Parque.

It is worth mentioning that Sabrina Carpenter is the artist scheduled to open the Brazilian shows.
