News about the fourth film in the “Spider-Man” franchise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) began circulating in recent weeks. Production has been confirmed and will be return of Tom Holland and Zendaya as Peter Parker and Mary Jane respectively.
The sequel was announced in 2023, but since then there has been no further talk about it. It was known about the return of the protagonists and that the production was Kevin Feige president of Marvel Studios and the former head of Sony Pictures, Amy Pascal .
Until, in October, Holland revealed, in an interview with the podcast The Rich Roll, that he and his girlfriend had read a possible script for the sequel and stated that he is excited for what is to come.
A few days later, the British actor was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and stated that the recordings for “Spider-Man 4” will begin in 2025 .
He then went on Good Morning America and declared that the new sequel will be “different from anything that has ever been done before”, stating that the production team now had a “solid enough” concept.
More information about the plot, cast and premiere date for “Spider-Man 4” has not yet been revealed.
The Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland have formed a billion-dollar franchise. The latest release in the saga, “Spider-Man: No Return Home“, raised almost US$2 billion since its launch in December 2021.
