A 27th International Book Biennial of São Paulo which happens between September 6th and 15th, 2024 will host the fourth edition of Cordel and Repente Space which promotes the diversity of northeastern culture at the event.
The space, which was already present in the 2016, 2018 and 2022 editions, highlights Cordel, Repente, music, literature and the multiple popular traditions of the region.
There, the public will be able to purchase woodcuts and cordel pamphlets, as well as watch musical performances, storytelling and book launches.
Over the 10 days of the event, more than 150 artists will perform on the venue’s stage, including poets, poets, storytellers, declaimers, musicians, woodcutters and writers.
