‘Sorry’ Chr. Bernardakis from N. Kerameos with the intervention of O. Gerovasili: ‘My comment is unacceptable’

LAST UPDATE: 15.21

“I apologize for the unacceptable comment which I immediately retracted, my political criticism of the anti-educational extremism remains intact”, the SYRIZA member of parliament Chr. Bernardakis.

“My comment about Ms. Kerameos’ anti-educational extremism was clearly wrong. For this reason and recognizing it, I have withdrawn it as of last night,” said the SYRIZA MP, closing his statement by asking “an apology from Ms. Kerameos for the unacceptable comment, my political criticism, however, of the disgrace brought to the vote in parliament remains intact”.

It is recalled that the SYRIZA MP had described the Minister of Education as “Pispirigou of education”, provoking the anger of both Koumoundourou and ND.

According to information, with Mr. Bernardakis was contacted by the secretary of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group, Olga Gerovassili, asking him to immediately download the video with his unthinkable comment on the threat of deletion.

ND: We demand a conviction from Tsipras

In its announcement earlier, New Democracy had asked the president of SYRIZA to “condemn the despicable attack of his close associate on the Minister of Education. If he does not do so, it will be as if he is co-signing it”.

The ND announcement in detail:

SYRIZA MP Mr. Bernardakis surpassed even the most extreme SYRIZA trolls in toxicity. In a video he posted on social media, he describes the Minister of Education, Niki Kerameos, as the “Pispirigou of education”. Apparently he thinks that by likening the minister to a litigant, he can gain a few minutes of opposition publicity. All he does is prove that the vulgarity emitted by him and his party has no end! We demand that Mr. Tsipras condemn the vile attack of his close associate on the Minister of Education. If he does not, it will be as if he is co-signing it.

N. Kerameos: Mr. Bernardakis exceeded every limit

“Mr. Bernardakis exceeded every limit”, the Minister of Education, Niki Kerameos, said earlier in her post on Twitter, regarding today’s post by SYRIZA MP Christoforos Bernardakis. “Ugliness, toxic polarization and division, attempted character assassination, misogyny… What position will Mr. Alexis Tsipras take?” added Ms. Kerameos in her post.
