Ihor kholodilo might not have lived to tell his tale. The military psychologist and medic managed to survive in early 2023 when the jeep he was riding in was hit by a Russian shell. He was seriously injured and could barely communicate. He was saved thanks to the interventions of doctors, who, however, could not cure his dysthymia (a type of clinical depression) and his stuttering, both psychological traumas from the horrors of the war in Ukraine.
