SoftServe will build a $ 100 million campus in Lviv

Ukrainian software development and consulting company SoftServe announced plans to build a high-tech campus on the site of an abandoned state property in Lviv.

The facility, located on a plot of almost 10 hectares, was purchased in June for $ 14 million by the engineering and construction subsidiary SoftServe during an open auction held jointly by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the State Property Fund.

In cooperation with the international architectural bureau, SoftServe plans to invest over $ 100 million in the construction of a modern town over the next five years. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2022. The Lviv office of SoftServe will be located on the campus, and all conditions will be created for work, recreation, training and events for the general public. Among other things, the campus will house the SoftServe corporate university, conference rooms and exhibition grounds, apartments, a kindergarten, a secondary school and sports facilities.

“SoftServe is the second largest technology company in Ukraine, with development centers in seven cities,” said Oleg Denis, SoftServe co-founder and board member. “Recently, our staff worldwide exceeded 10,000 employees, and 4,000 of them work in Lviv, the European headquarters of SoftServe, our largest development center.”
