Bluesky was launched as a “decentralized” Twitter, allowing posts of up to 300 characters, accompanying photos and videos.
Even though it brings similarities to Elon Musk's current network, the platform differentiates itself precisely because it brings open source dynamics and is not as dependent on algorithms as its competitor.
How to create an account at Bluesky
Whether directly on the Bluesky website or on the platform's app, available for Android and iOS, it is possible to create a free profile on the network.
To do this, simply click on “create a new account” and enter the necessary information, such as date of birth, email address and, of course, a password.
Next, you must indicate a telephone number to send and validate the security code. Then, follow the network's instructions for creating a username and other settings that allow access to posts and more resources.
