“Snow White”: Lebanon Bane Movie for having Israeli actress, says website

THE Lebanon banned the “Snow White” live-action from local theaters due to the presence of Israeli actress Gal Gadot in the cast according to Variety.

A representative of Disney’s movies distributor in the country told the publication that Gadot has been “boycott” for a long time, noting that none of his recent films have been released there.

According to local media, the request came from Lebanon’s Interior Minister, Ahmad Al Hajjar, amid the conflict of Israel and Hazbollah.

Actress Gal Gadot was born in Tel Aviv and, since the attack of Hamas to Israel in 2023, expressed his concern with the conflict and expressed support for the country of origin.

“I’m on Israel’s side, and you should be too. The world can’t stay on the wall when these horrible acts of terror are happening,” he wrote in a social media post.
