The Goiás Civil Police (PCGO) has completed the inquiry of the case of the soccer coach who is investigated for a crime of sexual abuse and harassment against adolescents. According to the corporation, six boys under 14 denounced the man.
The suspect was arrested preventively on April 16, in Aparecida de Goiânia (GO), about 20 kilometers from the capital. At the time, a search and seizure warrant was also fulfilled and the investigated cell phone and computer was taken and the police claim to have found children’s pornographic content.
PCGO’s investigation points out that the man invited young people to his home after training and forced them to perform sexual acts. The athletes, the majority of low income, were attracted to football and gift promises. In the house, he simulated massages to prevent injuries and consolidated abuse.
The complaints claim that those who denied the onslaught were harmed and were cut from the team or placed on the bench. In testimony, the suspect stated that football classes are part of a social project and, therefore, performed the function without remuneration.
The man has already been investigated in Mato Grosso for the practice of violent assault against children under 14 and, in 2013, was investigated for rape against women. He has denied crimes against teenagers and can be responsible for rape of vlnerable, sexual harassment and sexual harassment.
