Wakanda forever! Just over a month after its premiere on the big screen, Marvel Studios has just released the new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It is incredible!
The first trailer already showed it and the second confirms it: the notion of dueling will be at the heart of Black Panther 2echoing what the cast lived through after the death of the great Chadwick Boseman, who played the main character in the original film and, unfortunately, passed away in August 2020.
The second preview of the long-awaited movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (UCM) gives us a better idea of the scope and emotional weight that the film will have, since the first images of teaser not only do they reveal that Wakanda is mourning the death of their King T’Challa, but that it will soon be time to take up arms again and defend against new threats.
On the other hand, we are also witnessing new images that emphasize the parallels between the people of Wakanda and those of the kingdom of Atlantean Namor (introduced in the first trailer), who will visibly go to war with a third force, the one to which they belong. the soldiers who appear in the trailer, but whose role is still unclear.
Furthermore, Namor, played by Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta, also seems to have a key role when it comes to the evolution of the main characters. His great wisdom gained over his thousands of years of existence could help those who embrace T’Challa’s legacy to take over the reign of Wakanda.
As if that were not enough, Marvel also released the new promotional poster that, like the most recent trailer, gives us a big clue as to who will be the character that will take the place of Black Panther.
Also, the last seconds of the teaser further arouse the interest of fans of the UCM, since it seems to confirm who will become the new protector of the African nation.
Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, wears the familiar superhero costume. She, though, could very well be Okoye, by Danai Gurira, or Nakia, by Lupita Nyong’o. After all, the Black Panther costume is worn by a female character.
However, the suit’s helmet is covered in a mottled white pattern, similar to the same-color paint marks we saw earlier on Shuri’s face during T’Challa’s funeral procession in the first trailer for the Marvel movie. The marks on the face of T’Challa’s younger sister can also be seen at 0:22 in the teaser more recent.
With this beautiful trailer, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever confirms the good impression left by the first, but reserves more important details for the premiere, next November 10, in theaters in Latin America.
