On Wednesday night (21), Simony used social media to update fans and followers about his health status after entering the process of bowel cancer remission on the last year.
Since discovering the diagnosis, in August 2022, the singer has been sharing the stages of treatment with internet users.
“You know I always do these exams every six months, I don’t know if I have to do them every three months, but this time it was six months,” she began.
“I had the MRI, I did the Pet scan and I still have one more exam tomorrow […] And these two exams I took are great. I'm in remission, there's no tumor, nothing, thank God”, he celebrated.
The artist also said that the last exam will be the complement between them and one of the main ones.
“I am very happy with the results of the exams. There's still that one to go, it's a very difficult week, with a mix of feelings, agony, hope, faith, joy and fear, anyway. […] All of us who have had, who have, or whatever, cancer, it is very difficult to go through these tests”, he added.
In a continuation video, Simony also thanked her for all the love she has been receiving.
“Everything is fine. When the results of the last exam come out, I will pass it on to you. I continue using immunotherapy, I never stopped. It's so the cancer doesn't come back. I have to do it for two years,” she explained.
“I just have to thank God and those of you who support me […] Thank you very, very much. I love you, everything will be fine”, she thanked him finally.
