THE singer Simone Mendes 40, said before his show at the ExpoCláudio Rodeio Festival that he can compare your routine to that of prisoners because he feels he doesn’t have the freedom to do what he wants, not even to go out on the street.
According to her, the jail would be her dressing room and hotel room; her producer, the jailer; the police van, the car she uses to get to the event; the “conditional”, going up on stage; and the sunbathing, the show.
The answer came when she was asked by the Conceito Sertanejo page about the decision to take time off from her colleague Zé Neto to treat depression and anxiety and the statement by Gusttavo Lima, who plans to reduce the number of shows to spend time with his family.
“Success is crazy. We want it so much, but when it arrives it’s something so serious. It takes away so many good things in our lives: privacy, the desire to be with the people we love, a simple game of football on the street. I think that’s why Gusttavo stops at the bars on the avenues and tries to be a little bit of a person, to have a good drink,” commented the singer.
“I really hope that all of them who are going through this phase get through it because it is the worst pain in the world for the family member of a relative in this situation,” concluded Simone Mendes.
Singer Paula Fernandes, 40, agreed with her colleague in the comments of the publication. “When artists comment on the routine of the road, they are often criticized and asked: ‘Isn’t this what you wanted?’. We chose a beautiful career, full of light, magic, dreams and charm, however, behind the artist there is a human being, who by his choice, is deprived of essential things, and that’s okay, it’s part of it”, she wrote.
