The exchange of gunfire resulted in the death of the 26-year-old African-American man and an injury to the hand of a police officer. The lawyer for the family of the unfortunate young man claims that the search of his car was unconstitutional and unnecessary, causing Dexter Reed to cause this horrific incident. The police have launched an internal investigation with the footage however clearly showing that they were attacked.
