“At five in the afternoon when the security forces entered the kibbutz and began to take everyone out, the my aunt asked them to check my grandmother’s house. The house was completely destroyed, and he was nowhere to be found.” Avda said.

“Then we started seeing videos being uploaded on social media of the terrorists abducting my grandmother from her home and holding her hostage in Gaza, and showing her off as a trophy for having kidnapped an 80-year-old woman. As if it’s something human to do and everyone around her celebrated it,” she added.
The concern of the family is great for the fate of the 80-year-old, as she is ill.
“If she is alive, we don’t know what her condition is, we don’t know where she is. My grandmother is sick and she doesn’t have her medicine. This is no way to end the life of an 80-year-old woman,” he pointed out.
As she pointed out, in addition to her grandmother, one of her cousins has also been kidnapped, while another of her cousins is in the intensive care unit after being shot.
“I have a cousin who has also been kidnapped. He left his wife and two children in the shelter, and went out to protect the Kibbutz. I have a grandfather who, because they couldn’t take him, they burned the house while he was sitting inside and now he is hospitalized,” said the girl.
“I have another cousin who is in intensive care as he was shot and has lost a lot of blood and they are trying to keep him alive with many surgeries. And the rest of my family is fine, but they are psychologically very bad,” he said in closing.
