We say this because of the viral story that happened in a place in the center of Mexico City, where a girl entered to offer products for sale, assuring that she was mute, but a mistake gave her away.
Apparently, the woman sold sweets and tried to move the hearts of potential buyers by showing a badge, in which, according to what the local employees stated, she said she was mute. However, she forgot a small detail: she entered the place greeting with a “Good afternoon”!
According to the video captured by the establishment’s security camera, the woman was exposed when she entered the premises and greeted with a customary “Good afternoon”, to which the employee of the place responded kindly.
However, when asked how they could help her, the woman showed the badge where she explained her supposed disability. Even with her “accreditation”, the employees refused to buy her any of her sweets, so the woman had no choice but to leave the place.
When the street vendor left, one of the employees burst out laughing, pointing out to her colleagues that the woman had forgotten that minutes before introducing herself as a mute person, she had greeted with “Good afternoon.”

Of course, this video did not take long to go viral and is close to reaching a million views. In addition, Internet users have taken the time to comment on the matter and in several of their comments they not only make fun of the episode, but also emphasize the distrust that this type of action generates on the part of people who do not really have any disabilities.
