The singer Shawn Mendes 26, visited Christ the Redeemer on Saturday night (21). One day before performing at the Rock in Rio 2024 the musician had already made a loving declaration to Brazil alongside his father, Manuel Mendes.
During the night, he shared two photos at the famous Rio tourist spot, which he visited with a Brazilian flag. The Canadian is the headliner on the last day of the event, this Sunday (22).
Before posing at the feet of Christ and showing that he is enjoying the capital of Rio de Janeiro, Shawn Mendes wrote on social media that he loves Brazil, also saying that it is a “magical country”.
Earlier, the artist got off at the door of the Fasano hotel, where he is staying, to greet and take photos with fans.
This was not the first time he had met people in the country. Recently, the singer met admirers during a stroll along Ipanema beach.
The singer ends the special edition of the festival’s 40th anniversary on Sunday (22). In addition to him, other artists, such as Mariah Carey, Akon, Ne-yo, also play on the last day of the event.
