US and Russia governments are “moving in the right direction” to end the war in Ukraine, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In an interview with CBS News, which will air on Sunday, he said that despite progress, there are specific evidence of the possible agreement that remain unclear. “The statement by President (US Donald Trump) refers to an agreement, and we are ready to reach an agreement, but there are some specific points, elements of this agreement that need to be clarified,” Mr Lavrov said in an interview with CBS Face the Nation. “We continue our contacts with the American side regarding the situation in Ukraine, there is several indications that we are moving in the right direction,” Mr Lavrov still said.
