Senior Russian army officer killed by car explosion in Moscow

A senior Russian army officer was killed today by a car explosion in the Moscow Balasha suburb, the Russian online newspaper Mash wrote and broadcast the Shot network. Mash said the officer was named Yaroslav Moskalik and was second in the Department of Basic Operations of the Russian Army General Staff. Reuters was not able to ascertain Mash’s claim.
