“Sem Censura” pays tribute to Elza Soares next Friday

The program “Uncensored “, from TV Brasil, will make a special tribute the singer Elza Soares (1930-2022) in next Friday’s edition (22).

The themed production remembers the Brazilian diva who enchanted the country with her voice and stage presence. The idea is to rescue the repertoire and stories that formed her legacy.

To analyze the artist's trajectory, presenter Cissa Guimarães will welcome the singer and songwriter Larissa Luz who played the veteran in the musical “Elza”.

The singer and composer will also be part of the edition Caio Prado , who worked with Larissa on the show “Elza Tributo”. The two work with Vanessa Soares, granddaughter and producer of Elza Soares.

Another guest on the thematic edition of the program will be Pedro Loureiro, who was Elza's manager, artistic producer and composer.

During the program, Larissa Luz and Caio Prado sing classics that were immortalized in Elza's voice, such as: “A Carne”, “Fadas”, “Malandro” and “Mulher do Fim do Mundo”, among others.

The live versions will feature Rovilson Pascoal guitarist in Elza's original band.

“Sem Censura” aims to provide an overview of the artist’s trajectory, full of dramas, achievements and emotions in many decades of struggle and success on stage.

The debate reflects on racism and prejudice, latent themes in the musical production of the artist who has experienced this differentiation throughout her career.

The program airs from Monday to Friday at 4pm.
