“I have honored and praised its importance throughout my life. I will continue to honor its existence until the end. I receive its strength and divine protection, I feel stronger, even more connected to what really matters (…) My mother prepared me. Selva is its name, the most beautiful name there is. Selva is in everything, the true mother nature”, he continued.

Selton Mello also spoke about how he inherited his mother’s sensitivity to art. “Through art, I illuminate many lives. This is hers, created since the time I lived there. My mother is my art, mother living nature. I am her, now more than ever. All the love in the world for her passing.”

“I will continue to remember. I have known the greatest pain in the world, but I see beyond it. I continue my missions agreed upon with my queen. Our plans remain intact. I am here, mother, with you now in my heart,” concluded the artist.
