Security cameras captured the moment when criminals approached actress Isabelle Drummond’s car, in Leblon, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.
In the images, the actress’s driver was just parking the white vehicle, when another car, in which the criminals were traveling, passes right by. He stops just ahead and starts to reverse. Three bandits come down and at least one of them is armed.
The three open the car doors and approach the victims. Seconds later, the actress and her friend run downstairs. The driver is the last one to get out of Isabelle’s car. He is removed by the criminals who had the gun.
Note that the criminals have difficulty starting and end up, about a minute after approaching, deciding to abandon the car. They ran towards the vehicle they arrived, taking only the victims’ personal belongings.
This Friday (24), Rio’s civil police reported that they are awaiting Isabelle Drummond’s statement. The case was registered at the neighborhood police station. Investigators have already interviewed witnesses and are seeking to identify those responsible for the crime.
According to the PM, the corporation was called after the crime and the victim reported that the object tracking device pointed to a location in the Catete neighborhood, also in the south zone. During searches, military police officers found the belongings taken in the compartment of a motorcycle, which was parked. The motorcycle was seized and the owner provided information to the civil police.
The vehicle used in the crime was also recovered. According to the police, it was stolen.
“Everyone is fine and did not suffer any type of aggression,” Isabelle’s publicist said in a post on social media.
