A group of climbers was taking a rescue course on the Vallunaraju mountain in Peru when they experienced a real emergency after a glacier collapsed right in front of them.

One of them, José Forero, told the CNN how the situation occurred and how they managed to survive the emergency.
“It is coming towards us, pulling us up, pulling us up. That was the first reaction. The first 15 seconds were scared. We were singing a rescue song to anticipate something real, but when we realized, it became real,” he reported.
Forero has 18 years of experience in the area of mountaineering and is also climber.
“We see a small piece of ice falling, and they tell me, ‘There’s a piece, a block’, and I say, ‘Ah, this piece will fall.’ I record, and all falls,” as can be seen in the recording.
The climber commented that, despite the situation, he will continue to dedicate himself to what he loves.
“You can’t give up on these dreams, because the mountains are beautiful, life is too short, so you have two options: 50% chance of nothing happening to you, or 50% chance of something happening. How will we know? Well, go and try, see yourself,” he told him to CNN .
