THE Apple announced new models of its brand, this Monday (9). In addition to the iPhone 16 which will come with integrated artificial intelligence, the technology giant has launched new models of Apple Watch and AirPods .

In addition to announcing the new devices, the company gave more details about what we can expect with the Apple Intelligence announced by the brand in June.

iPhone 16

New colors will also be available on the device, such as ultramarine, turquoise, pink, white and black. (see above). A new ceramic protective glass will also be added, making the device 50% more resistant than the previous generation and 2x more resistant than other phones.

To this end, Apple announced two device sizes, which follow the pattern of previous models, with 6.1 inches and 6.7”. At the event, the brand also announced the new A18 chip, as well as changes to the side button and cameras.

On the side, the new button will have the function of searching for photos, in addition to capturing records in a more practical way. The main camera will have 48MP, while the second shutter will come with 12MP and with the new device, it will be possible to take spatial photos.

The iPhone 16 will start at $799 (around R$4,400). The iPhone 16 Plus will cost R$899 (approximately R$5,021). There is no release date or pricing for Brazil.

The Pro versions were also announced at the event. In addition to coming in a new color, bronze, called “desert titanium”, Apple confirmed that the screens of the devices have increased in relation to the previous generation.

The tech giant has assured that these devices will have Apple’s “best battery” yet. With Apple Intelligence, the device’s processor will run 15% faster than the iPhone 15 Pro.

For these two devices, in the Pro line, Apple announced the A18 Pro processor, an even improved version of the A18, used for the iPhones 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

The Pro models will be available starting at $999 with 128 GB (around R$5,500) in the smaller version and $1999 (approximately R$11,173) for the iPhone 16 Pro Max models, with 256 GB.


Apple Watch

Apple also announced the largest display ever for the Apple Watch Series 10 which will also become the brand’s thinnest watch to date. In the announcement, the technology giant also highlighted a 40% increase in brightness on the device and the fastest battery to recharge, in just 30 minutes.

In addition to the traditional colors, such as silver and rose, the technology company also announced a new color: jet black. Three other colors were added to the device, based on gold, silver and bronze.

In addition to being able to identify impacts during travel, falls and sleep, the Apple Watch will also be able to alert you to sleep apnea, which, according to Apple, 80% of people are still undiagnosed with. With the new feature, every 30 days, the watch will notify the user in case of a possible diagnosis.

For the Apple Watch Ultra 2, a new color has been announced: saturn black . In addition to showing new bracelet models, the brand announced that both devices are available for pre-order and will be available for sale on September 20, in the United States.

The Apple Watch Series 10 starts at $399 (around R$2,200). The Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at $799 (R$4,400). There is no release date or pricing for Brazil.


AirPods

A new generation of AirPods was also announced by Apple on Monday (9). This time, two models are available: a more expensive one, with active noise cancellation and another with a more affordable price and without the feature.

In addition to interactions with Siri, the company’s virtual assistant, just through head gestures, in the Pro versions, the battery life will offer up to 30 hours.

The new product is priced at US$129 (approximately R$720 at the current exchange rate) for the simplest version and US$179 (approximately R$999) for the headset with cancellation. However, there is still no launch date or price for Brazil.
