The rapper and music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs also known as P. Diddy or Puff Daddy has released several hits and collaborated with successful artists. The musician was arrested last week and has been facing several charges including extortion, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution.
In his business empire, in addition to his successes, the rapper owned the record label Bad Boy Entertainment, founded in 1993. In addition to recording his own songs there, such as “Last Night”, P. Diddy also directed some of the songs of artists such as Mariah Carey with “Honey” and Jennifer Lopez with the single “Feelin’ So Good”.
One of his most famous songs is “I’ll Be Missing You”, a collaboration with singer Faith Evans and the R&B quartet 112. In addition to the single winning a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1998, the song is the artist’s most popular on Spotify and remained at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks.
Another hit that also won a Grammy in the same category is “Shake Ya Tailfeather”, by P. Diddy in collaboration with Nelly and Murphy Lee, which also remained at number one on the Hot 100 for four weeks.
