A 62-year-old resident of Florianópolis died after falling from the cliff between Ingleses and Santinho beaches, this Wednesday morning (15).
The victim fell into the sea and was located floating face down by a team of Lifeguards from Praia dos Ingleses.
According to the Santa Catarina Military Fire Department (CBMSC), after the search, rescuers on board a jet ski managed to rescue the man and take him to Praia do Santinho. Then, they began resuscitation maneuvers, as the victim There was no heartbeat or signs of breathing .
The Águia helicopter, from the Military Police, was called in to provide advanced support.
Death was declared around 11am. The identity of man was identified but the military did not disclose the name.
