Keeping a promise earlier this month, Samyang introduced the AF 12mm F2 E autofocus lens. In contrast to the previously released full-frame Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 FE, this novelty is intended for APS-C cameras. But it also has an autofocus drive and a Sony E mount. Another common feature is the optimization for astrophotography.

According to the manufacturer, this is the world’s first autofocus lens with a focal length of 12 mm, equipped with a Sony E mount. The advantages of the product include weather protection.
