Samsung is preparing to update its tablet product line and will soon launch new products in the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, said the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 + and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablets will go into mass production at the end of January 2022.
The source confirms previously published information that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra screen will receive a small bang-shaped notch. Despite the presence of this cutout, the tablet will not support the technology of three-dimensional scanning of users’ faces by analogy with Face ID.

After the release of the iPhone X, Samsung released a series of black PR videos in which it made fun of the large cutout in the screen, which was very unusual at that time.
The source adds that only the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will receive such a cutout, while the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 + will not have bangs. In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a 14.6-inch display, the Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 11-inch display, and the Galaxy Tab S8 + will have a 12.4-inch display.
The Galaxy Tab S8 lineup is due out in February 2022.
