“Saltburn”: Jacob Elordi gives his opinion on controversial bathtub scene

Actor Jacob Elordi spoke in an interview about a controversial scene in “Saltburn”. The film premiered on December 22, 2023 and gave people something to talk about with unusual scenes.

In the plot directed by Emerald Fennell, the protagonist played by Barry Keoghan watches Elordi's character take a shower and masturbate and, as soon as he leaves the bathroom, licks the trace of sperm left by him in the bathtub. Since its debut, the scene has been causing people to talk and has become a meme on the internet.

To the vehicle Stream Wars, Jacob Elordi praised the scene. “I was genuinely excited when I read that scene because it's not every day you come across something like that in mainstream cinema. Fennell really defied expectations and exposed people to something new and unexpected,” he opined.

He also cited the comments he has been seeing about the film. “To be honest, I've been trying to protect myself from all the talk. But I attended a screening of the film in Brisbane, and it was absolutely electrifying! The entire audience was captivated, gasping and even shouting at the screen. It was an experience like no other, I haven't been in a film like this for a long, long time”, highlighted the star.

The psychological thriller accompanies student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) who struggles to find his place at Oxford College and finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) who invites him to spend a summer at Saltburn, the sprawling estate of his eccentric family.

Names like Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant and Carey Mulligan also make up the cast. The film is available on Prime Video.'

To the vehicle, Jacob Elordi also described the film as “wild, beautiful and fun”.
