Some time ago, enough information appeared on the net about the new Haval Dargo X crossover, which stands out from the background of the basic version with advanced off-road functions, and yesterday, on February 8, the Auto Review news publication, citing the brand’s press service, announced the official start of sales of the vehicle. on Russian territory. There is even a full-fledged price list that clearly demonstrates the difference in price between the basic and off-road versions of the vehicle – in fact, you won’t have to pay so much for the ability to comfortably move outside the asphalt surface.
The fact is that the Haval Dargo X model is not presented in the basic version – you can get a set of off-road functions only when purchasing the Elite and Premium packages. At the same time, there is no difference between Dargo Elite and Dargo X Elite (as well as Dargo Premium and Dargo X Premium), if you do not take into account the extended package for off-road trips, and the surcharge for the X version is 70 thousand rubles. For a potential buyer, this is extremely convenient – if someone needs a Dargo Premium without an off-road package, then he calmly buys a classic urban crossover, but if you like this particular equipment, but you also want to travel outside the city, then such an opportunity is also implemented.

The main advantage of a vehicle from the Haval Dargo X line is the rear cross-axle differential lock, which operates at speeds up to 38 km / h – it allows you to drive where a car without this function is likely to simply slip. Also, a crossover with an extended package boasts a function to maintain a constant speed when driving off-road and an “expert” driving mode – in this case, absolutely all electronic driving assistants are turned off, including the traction control system, leaving only the ABS. Under the hood, everything is standard – the manufacturer supplies a crossover with a two-liter gasoline engine for 192 horsepower with a seven-speed robot with two clutches and all-wheel drive.

However, you can distinguish the X-version of the crossover from the usual one by external signs – Dargo X received quite interesting bumpers and an unusual radiator grille, plus there are extended wheel arches. It is also worth noting that the X-version will be delivered directly from China, while the basic versions of the crossover in all configurations are produced at the facilities of the Tula plant. Perhaps in the near future, off-road versions will also be assembled in Russia, but so far there has been no information about this.
