The project “Sex” will be available on digital platforms on the day November 22nd and will feature the participation of Sam Smith André 3000 and Jeff Tweedy in a list that exceeds 100 names. The participation of the voice of “Smooth Operator” and “By Your Side” will take place, according to Variety, in the form of tribute to Izaak Theo Adu, the singer’s transgender son .

In an interview with the North American magazine, the creator of the project and director of Red Hot, Dust Reid, revealed that the intention of the compilation is to bring together all the gifts that trans artists have offered to the world of music in a single album.

“We hoped to create a narrative that positions trans and non-binary people as leaders in our society, as they do the deep inner work to assert who they are in our current climate. We felt this is something everyone should do,” Reid said.

“Whether you identify as trans or non-binary or not, if you took the time to explore your gender, get in touch with the feeling side of yourself, maybe we could have a future that is built around values ​​of community, collaboration, care and healing.”

“Young Lion” will be Sade’s first new song since 2018, when “Flower Of The Universe” and “The Big Unknown” were released. The songs were featured on the soundtracks for “A Wrinkle in Time” and “Widows,” films released that year.
