Sacy evaluates the scenario after the Valorant World Cup and makes a good prediction for Brazil

The player Sacy, from LOUD, evaluated this Wednesday (21) the moment of Brazil in the Valorant world scenario. Days after winning the 2022 Champions, the esports team held a press conference.

“I think [o título] represents, not only for our region, but for the scenario itself, that our region is getting close. There is not such a big gap for the other international teams that not even the staff thinks”, he highlighted.

The pro-player also pointed out that it is a “natural process” and a matter of time for even better results to happen for other teams in the country.

Recalling the participation of Furia in this world and NIP in the Masters of Iceland — which was one point away from the classification for the playoffs, but lost to Zeta, a team that ended up in third place in the tournament –, reaffirmed that Brazil “is not far away”. “Hit the post against the other teams,” Sacy said.

LOUD won Valorant’s biggest championship on Sunday (18), beating OpTic Gaming 3-1. The score was built on Ascent, Bind, Breeze and Haven maps, with two games being decided in overtime.

In the VCT Americas International League, the Brazilian organizations selected were LOUD, FURIA and Mibr. The other members are 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, Kru Esports, Leviatan, NRG and Sentinels.

The American OpTic, vice-champion of the world, was left out of the selection. Shortly after the announcement, some of its players spoke out looking for opportunities in other teams.

Riot explained that the selection process considered teams with “a strong connection to fans with interesting content”, that “aim for long-term projects with a focus on sustainability” and that “share our values of always putting fans first. , celebrated the diversity of the community and were committed to supporting professional gamers.”

For this, interviews and financial reviews were carried out for months, in addition to a written application.

“More than 20 Challengers leagues will take place across the world, providing a place for teams to win in their respective regions and securing an opportunity to play in international leagues through the new Ascension tournaments.”
