The singer Sabrina Carpenter 25, has equalled a new record for the British rock band The Beatles with his new studio album, the “Short n’ Sweet” .
Sabrina Carpenter occupies three positions on the chart Billboard Hot 100 this week, with the songs “Taste” in second place, “Please Please Please” in third, and “Espresso” in fourth. With this, she becomes the first solo artist to have three songs that were previously in the top 5 of the chart (but separate from each other) simultaneously in the top positions of the ranking in the same week.
She joins only The Beatles, who tripled the chart in March 1964, with “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” and “Please Please Me” at Nos. 1, 2, and 4, respectively.
Another feat of the singer comparable to the British band was that she placed two of her songs among the three most listened to on the charts simultaneously. “Please Please Please” entered in 2nd place on Billboard, and “Espresso” in 3rd.
The success of “Short n’ Sweet” was fueled by the performance of “Please Please Please” and “Espresso,” the singles that preceded the album and peaked at number one and number three on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. This week, the former reached number three and the latter reached number four on the main US music chart.
“Taste”, a single released with the album, came in second place, behind only “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, by Shaboozey.
