Ryan Gosling to host comedy show “Saturday Night Live”

After a lively weekend at the Oscars, the actor Ryan Gosling will soon go to the studios to record “Saturday Night Live “. The “Barbie” star will be the guest host of the comedy program that brings together celebrities and comedians in different roles.

This Wednesday (13), “SNL” announced presenters for two editions of the program in April. One of them is Gosling, who will be the presenter for the third time.

The episode will air on April 13th and will feature musical guest Chris Stapleton .

Before that, Kristen Wiig will host the program on April 6th. British singer Raye will make her debut on “Saturday Night Live” as this edition’s musical guest.

It will be Wiig's fifth time hosting the program. She will then be one of the few celebrities who have already reached this milestone, such as Emma Stone, Tom Hanks, Steven Martin, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Ben Affleck and Melissa McCarthy.

Kristen Wiig was a regular on “SNL” for seven years, between 2005 and 2012. After leaving the group of comedians who take the stage every Saturday, she returned as a guest host in 2013, 2016 and twice in 2020.

“Saturday Night Live” is currently on hiatus until it takes over on March 30. The performance will be by actor Ramy Youssef, from “Poor Creatures”, and the musical guest will be Travis Scott.
