Mail.ru Group developers announced an important innovation for users of video calls based on VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Mail.ru Mail. All three services use the Mail.ru Group’s unified calling platform and have introduced intelligent noise reduction technology.
As the developers promise, now the background noise will not interfere with communication. At the same time, the new technology of the Mail.ru Group unified call platform improves the sound quality without additional equipment.
Noise cancellation is already working in the new version of the application and on the VKontakte website, as well as in the web version of Odnoklassniki and in Mail.ru video calls.
It is noted that participants in online meetings will hear each other, even when the street is buzzing around, cars are rushing around, or neighbors suddenly started repairs. Noise cancellation in calls is enabled by default and works in automatic mode, adjusting to external circumstances.
The function can be disabled. The noise cancellation option on the Mail.ru Group calling platform is available free of charge.
