Russian solo miner managed to mine a block in the Bitcoin network and earn 6.25 BTC

Another success story of a single miner – a resident of Russia, who controls 0.002% of the total hashrate of the Bitcoin network, managed to mine block 780,112.

As a result, the miner received a reward of 6.25 BTC for the block itself and 0.63 BTC for transaction fees. The total amount of the reward at the current rate exceeds $151,000. The miner used the specialized Solo CK Pool service, which allows you to create your own mining pools for one user. The hash rate of the miner was about 6.7 Px/s, while the total network hash rate at the time of block mining reached 308,262 Px/s.

The block mined by a single miner contained 3,220 transactions, the volume of which was 16,940 BTC.

“Miners of this hashrate mine blocks, on average, once every 10 months. This miner mined a block in just 2 days of work, this is a great success,” wrote the developers of Solo CK Pool.

Later on the BitcoinTalk forum appeared user under the pseudonym Pineconeeee. He said that he lives in Russia and the extraction of the block has really become a great success. According to him, the hashrate of his equipment is only 270 TH / s (most likely, these are 3 ASIC miners), but he rented additional power for 5 Ph / s.

At the beginning of last year, a single miner with a hashrate of just 126 TH/s (0.000073% of the total hashrate of the Bitcoin network) also mined a block and took the rewards.
