According to the General SVR, the results of the toxicological analysis showed that the substance with which Patrushev came into contact was a synthetic poison, but after rendering assistance, he was taken home in a stable condition.

The 71-year-old Patrushev, who has served as head of the FSB secret service and is considered the architect of the war in Ukraine, is considered to be one of Putin’s most trusted men.
