THE Russia confirmed this evening that it had taken “total control” of the eastern city of Abdiivka Ukraine after the withdrawal of Ukrainian army forces from this industrial city, the focus of heavy fighting in recent months.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the minister Sergei Shoigu informed the president today Vladimir Putin to the Kremlin for capturing this city which was “a strong defense hub of the Ukrainian armed forces”.
