The leader of the Russian opposition and critic of the Kremlin, Alexei Navalny, received the first reprimand in the colony of high-security prisoners IK-6 located in the Vladimir region and where he was transferred a week ago. This is reported on the Twitter of the Russian politician.
According to Navalny, the report against him was drawn up in the N2 penitentiary colony in the town of Pokrov, where he was serving his sentence.
“My first prison turned out to be a report that during the last two hours I was there, ‘I broke the dress code.’ At 6:30 in the morning I went to the bathroom wearing a T-shirt and not the prisoner’s uniform. “To understand, at 6:30 in the morning all the prisoners are washed and shaved and everyone goes to the bathroom with a T-shirt. But I was walking dangerously! I was walking as an extremist and my T-shirt was threatening the current government,” wrote Alexei Navalny.
The prison committee called him to the IK-6 prison colony and reprimanded him. According to the current regulations, the reprimands made to a detainee are “burned” (expired) one year after the last reprimand he has received. Were it not for the T-shirt report, the reprimands he had received would have stopped counting from August this year.
Navalny said that after two reprimands, he could be sent to a punishment cell, where “you could easily die of pneumonia” or break your throat by falling out of bed (then someone would be rewarded with a visit to your mother !) “.
On March 22, a court convicted Navalny of fraud and lack of respect for the court, sentencing him to nine years in a colony of strict detainees and a fine of 1.3 million rubles.
In late May, the Russian politician announced that he had been charged with setting up an extremist organization, which carries an additional sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
