Russia: All books “propagandizing” the LGBTI community are withdrawn

Let all the books with “propaganda” content for the community LGBT the Russian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Roskomnadzor) asked the Russian Union of Publishers – Booksellers.

As reported by the Russian news agency TASS, citing the regulatory authority, “Roskomnadsor states that the dissemination of deviant relationship propaganda in any form does not correspond to the traditional values ​​of Russian society and constitutes a danger not only for minors, but also for the whole society».

In mid-July, a bill was submitted to the State Duma (Russian lower house), as reported by the Athens News Agency, to ban “propaganda of non-traditional relationships” in the mass media.

Other than that Russian MPs have decided that cinemas will not be allowed to show films that deny ‘family values’ and allow the “propaganda” of the LGBTI community.
