In a clip that already has almost 700,000 views, the account “Rei do drone” showed residents of a rural area desperate to “spot” the object.
Not knowing what it is, men, women and children run to hide, while trying to defend themselves with knives or throwing hats, for example.

Flying over villages with simple houses, the narrator makes comments like “Well, I was told that people don’t have that habit. Oh my God”.
Almost two thousand Internet users did not hesitate to leave messages in the video, which alternate between tones of joke and indignation.
Many joke about the association of the drone with an “alien invasion”: “comadre, I’m not telling you, a flying saucer tried to abduct me yesterday afternoon“, reads a comment. In another, “generations will hear stories about that day”.

But for others, the video was not at all funny, and portrays an unequal country in which millions of people are “disconnected” in several senses.
“For you to have an idea of how many simple people do not have access to current things. Sad!” said one netizen, while another added: “The people of the roça are pure”.
By early afternoon this Thursday (9), the video already had 71,800 likes.
