Rocket attack on Tel Aviv by Hamas – Sirens sounded in the city

A rocket attack was launched by the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, against Tel Avivb, the organization announced on Telegram. Sirens sounded in the city and a Reuters television crew recorded the interception of missiles originating on Gaza Strip in the city sky.

Some 130 people who have taken refuge in a Palestinian Red Crescent building in the northern Gaza Strip, including the wounded, are at risk due to continued fire from the Israeli army, which is “besieging” the facility, the aid group warned today.

Israeli forces ‘continue to besiege Jabalia Ambulance Center’, says the Palestinian Red Crescent in a statement. “Heavy artillery fire continues around the center, accompanied by fire from Israeli snipers,” he adds.

According to this source, 127 people, including rescuers, volunteers and their families, are threatened by this fire, including 22 wounded who are being treated there.

Asked by AFP, the Israeli army has not yet commented on this information.

The war between Israel and Hamas, which entered its 76th day today, has put most of the hospitals out of business, mainly in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave that is being pounded by the Israeli army.

Ashraf al-Kidreh, a spokesman for the health ministry of Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, said hundreds of patients succumbed to their injuries at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the enclave’s largest, and others in its north that also have stop working.

“Hospitals and medical staff are sacred,” Francesca Albanese, the UN rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territories, noted in a post on X, denouncing an “absurd war against the people of Gaza.”
