The 2023 edition of the Rock The Mountain Festival will have a line-up formed 100% by female artists.
There will be more than 100 performances divided into the eight stages of the event, which will take place on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of November, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro.
Among the main attractions of the festival, which is now in its 10th edition, are: Maria Bethânia, Iza, Pitty, Marisa Monte, Margareth Menezes, Alcione, Daniela Mercury, Majur, Maria Rita, Gaby Amarantos and Preta Gil.
“Each year, we have been increasing female participation in the festival, giving them more prominence both on stage and in the hierarchy of the line-up. For the 2023 edition, we had already decided to put only women on all stages, and when we managed to close Marisa Monte, Maria Bethânia and IZA, we were even more sure”, said Ricardo Brautigam, partner-creator of Rock The Mountain.
Festival tickets are still available. Before the turn of the year, more than 50% were already sold.
