Amidst the expectations of fans for the authorial single “Bicho Solto”, with a release already announced by Roberto Carlos, the singer debuted this Wednesday (17) a partnership with Liah Soares: the song “A Cor do Amor”.
The track, which is already available on digital platforms, was recorded between 2019 and 2020 and released together with a music video. In the production, the artists appear in a studio: Liah plays the guitar and sings, alternating vocals with Roberto Carlos. The song, a ballad with romantic verses, is the artist’s first collaboration since 2018, when Roberto Carlos recorded the song “Chegaste”, in partnership with Jennifer Lopez.
In publicity for the Sony Music label, Liah reports that she has built a friendly relationship with Roberto Carlos in recent years and that the singer already knew part of his authorial repertoire. “There was an afternoon when I showed some new songs and it turned out that he was enchanted by this one, a partnership of mine with Iana Marinho”, he says. “Cor do Amor” is among the tracks on the singer’s next album, “Infinito”, produced by Zeca Baleiro.
