Rio Police investigates whether PCC operates in gas stations in the state

The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police investigates whether the first command of the capital (CCP) operates in the state fuel business, to launder the money from drug trafficking and expand faction business in the state .

In this second (14), agents went to the streets on the first day of the “Spectrum” operation aiming to combat illegal practices in the sector.

According to police, during the first day of operation, two gas stations were banned, one in Cascadura, in the northern part of the city, and another in São Gonçalo, in the metropolitan region, for operating without license from the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), as well as the commercialization of adulterated fuels, as found by the Civil Police Technical Expertise.


The fraud, besides posing a serious risk to vehicle safety, also “constitutes a crime against consumer relations and the economic order,” the corporation said.

CCP action

According to investigations, there is evidence that the supervised posts are part of a broad and articulated scheme, which may be used by the CCP as a strategy for money laundering and expansion of operations in the state of Rio.

Now, with the two posts banned and sealed, the owners must respond for a crime against the economic order and against consumer relations. In addition, employees were also conducted to clarify the police.

Also according to the Civil Police, the investigations go to identify those responsible, possible oranges, accomplices and financiers of the scheme, as well as mapping posts already dominated or in the process of acquisition
