Returning to TV Globo in a special edition, “Cheias de Charme” was one of the network’s greatest successes, originally shown in 2012. Starring Taís Araújo, Isabelle Drummond and Leandra Leal, the soap opera was written by Filipe Miguez and Izabel de Oliveira.

In their story, the actresses play the three Marias: Maria da Penha, Maria Aparecida and Maria do Rosário. Over the course of 143 episodes that aired in their first broadcast, the characters face various obstacles as they go in search of a better life.

The turning point comes when the three Marias get together for a venting session. With the dream of becoming a great artist, Rosário convinces her friends to sing a song she composed, “Vida de Empreguete”, which goes viral on the internet and transforms the lives of the three friends.
