Pawel Pietryka, a longtime head of user interface development at Tesla, has left the company. But it is not the dismissal itself that is interesting, but the information made public by a former Tesla employee.

Pavel posted examples of designs created for Tesla on the website of his new company as his portfolio. Most of the examples have already been implemented in cars and other Tesla products. However, there are also previously unpublished images.
One of these “secret” materials was the design of the user interface for the futuristic Cybertruck pickup truck. In a short video, the interface is demonstrated quickly, but in good quality and in some detail.

Recall that Tesla introduced Cybertruck in November 2019, leaving many questions unsolved. In December 2019, Elon Musk “put the Network on his ears” when he drove around Los Angeles at night, even dropping into a restaurant, in an electric pickup truck, which was then still a big mystery. In April, Musk demonstrated a prototype Cybertruck at a Texas plant.
The Tesla Cybertruck pickup should only go on sale at the end of 2021. You can pre-order it starting at $ 39,990 for the base package.
