Playing Mariana in the remake of “Reborn” the actress Theresa Fonseca made its debut at 9pm.
In the plot, her character lives a love triangle between father and son – José Inocêncio and João Pedro respectively. And, from this scenario, the role was no longer part of the public's favorites.
The actress, however, assured that she understood viewers' distrust of the young woman. Participating in the “Encontro” this Tuesday (27), Theresa also said that she had received support from Adriana Esteves, who played Mariana in the original version of the work.
“Adriana is an admirable person in all aspects and she has proven herself to be a partner. She was very cute. It boosted my morale,” she stated.
Theresa also said that, like Adriana, she is also afraid of the public's perception of her character.
“I'm scared even now. It hasn't passed yet, no. But I like a challenge and I really believe in God,” she said.
Adriana Esteves comments on the character
Adriana Esteves also revealed that he had a professional crisis during work and that this took her away from other projects.
“My character was very suffering and as I am an actress who dedicates herself a lot, I was very involved with the story”, she said in an interview with Globo’s “Papo de Novela” podcast.
“And that had a huge impact on me. I think I mixed up the character a lot… I dedicated myself so much to searching, to understand… and during that time in the soap opera I suffered sufferings that were Mariana's, not mine”, he added.
“All of this is maturity. Some things were never done or repeated by me as an actress. You can have the same dedication, the same depth, without mixing too much between what is fiction and what is reality”, she guaranteed.
