O CNN Specialist in human rights and diversity, Renan Quinalha, talks this Saturday (15) about the campaign launched by the National Association of Transvestites and Transsexuals (Antra) with a very direct motto: “STF, release my pee”.
This is because, since 2015, a case that deals with the use of the bathroom according to gender identity has been stalled in the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
“It is absolutely unjustifiable for a process to take more than seven years to return to the agenda and finalize its judgment in the Federal Supreme Court”, said Quinalha.
“That is why this campaign, which aims to mobilize and sensitize public opinion and society in general, is so important to the importance of guaranteeing a right so simple and, at the same time, so violated that it is the right of the use of restrooms by trans people.”
